Founded in 2002 by Kyle Blitch at just 15 years old, Custom Grooves Ltd. began with a deep passion for cheerleading music. Kyle lived and breathed it—listening constantly, from the classroom to cheer practice, and even in the shower. What started as personal mixes for competitions quickly turned into a business when fellow athletes began asking, “Who does your music?” The answer: “I do.”

 

Word spread quickly. Kyle became known for providing high-quality, affordable music to local high schools and his home gym, Rock Solid Allstars in Pinellas Park, FL. During his last two years of high school, Kyle joined the legendary Top Gun Allstars Coed team, helping bring home national titles. Balancing school, cheerleading, and a growing business was challenging, but he handled it with determination—and a smile.

After high school, Kyle and Custom Grooves took on new opportunities. Awarded a full cheerleading scholarship to Hawaii Pacific University, Kyle earned an NCA Collegiate National Title in 2006. However, his booming business demanded so much of his time that traditional college became secondary to his growing career.

 

Returning to Florida, Kyle continued coaching at Rock Solid Allstars while expanding his client base. Soon after, he pursued another dream: acting. He and his father drove cross-country to Los Angeles, where Kyle could balance his music career with opportunities in commercials, music videos, and film. Cheerleading music, a niche and mobile industry, allowed him to build his business while pursuing other creative passions.

 

Today, Kyle has called Los Angeles home for over seven years, where he continues to operate Custom Grooves Ltd., producing over 700 mixes per season and contributing to numerous Worlds medals and national titles. Kyle’s unwavering dedication to his clients has earned him a reputation for exceptional customer service and communication—qualities he considers the heart of his success.
